Colin served BJ as Executive Director from mid-2016 through October 2023. Prior to joining BJ, Colin was the Director of Marketing and Digital at the Jewish Museum, where he led key strategic change initiatives and delivered an all new brand, marketing, and digital infrastructure. Prior to that, he served as Director of Development and Alumni Relations at the Joseph Slifka Center for Jewish Life at Yale (Hillel); and Chief Operating Officer of the AIDS Walks in New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles. He began his career as Financial Controller for Citibank Private Bank’s Art Advisory Service and continued with marketing management and leadership roles at ITT Financial, The Shooting Gallery Creative Agency, and Havas/EuroRSCG. A New York City native, Colin received a BA in Art History from Yale University and holds leadership positions in a number of not-for-profit organizations including Treasurer of the Council of American Jewish Museums, Co-Founder and Co-Chair of YJAA – the Yale Jewish Alumni Association. He lives on the Upper West Side with his daughter Stella, and her cat sisters Tailor Swiff and KT Purry.
