Suzanne and her husband Todd Ruback have been members of BJ since 2007. Suzanne started volunteering at BJ upon joining; cooking for the shelter, serving weekly guests at the lunch program and she eventually became involved with and chaired a number of membership committees. From 2014-2016 she co-chaired the Israel Dialogue Initiative, a pioneer project at BJ that helped and encouraged members to tackle difficult conversations with respect and understanding. In 2017 Suzanne became First Vice President and worked closely with Alan Mantel, Rabbis and Colin to assist in leading the community and is humbled and honored to serve as President now. Suzanne is also honored to sit on the Board of AJWS.
