Join Rabbi Rebecca Weintraub on Tuesday mornings as we explore Mishnah Brakhot: the first tractate of the six books of Mishnah and the beginning of our oral Torah.
“Soul Food: A Taste of the World to Come” Lunch and Learn with Rabbi Felicia Sol
In this year of shemita (sabbatical year), we will study rabbinic and hassidic texts on Shabbat, opening up a doorway to the 25 hour taste of the world to come. No previous textual experience necessary.
Shirah with Shira
Join us for a Hebrew immersion class geared toward children 3- and 4-years old. Shira Averbuch will lead children with their parents and caregivers in music, stories, and movement rooted in Jewish tradition, while providing exposure to Israeli culture.
Ivrit Live (Virtual Hebrew Lessons)
Come join other BJ members in learning Ivrit (Hebrew) live and online. Our Hebrew course provides a comprehensive Hebrew-learning experience focusing on the skills needed for conversation. Whether you are a beginner or an intermediate student, we have a class for you!
Introduction to Judaism
This course offers an overview of the core beliefs, practices, and history of Judaism and the Jewish people, for both those just beginning to explore Jewish life and those who would like to participate more fully in the Jewish community.

M’kom Shalom: A Place of Peace
This Zoom support group is for those who have lost a loved one to suicide. Facilitated by Rabbi Simkha Y. Weintraub, LCSW and Dr. Adena Greenberg, PhD, the support group will meet weekly on Wednesdays for six months.
8th Grade Holocaust Education Class: Facing History
The 8th Grade Facing History Holocaust Education is included in your Haverim registration from 2020-2021. The sessions will be taught in-person by Matt Altman, one of our incredible Teen Educators, in the BJ Teen Lounge.

Bim Bam is returning in the fall. Bim Bam gives children under three a fun space to get ready for Shabbat through interactive English and Hebrew songs, movement, and stories, while practicing traditions such as lighting candles and saying Kiddush.
