Citymeals on Wheels

Citymeals on Wheels provides a continuous lifeline of nourishing meals and vital companionship to nearly 22,000 homebound elderly New Yorkers. When older adult centers must close on holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas Day, Citymeals provides festive hand-delivered meals, reminding our older neighbors they haven’t been forgotten. God’s Love we Deliver Winter Feast

In December, we cook and home-deliver a special holiday meal for clients. Join us in the kitchen in December for additional food prep shifts, decorate holiday bags from home, or deliver meals with friends and family. Every hour you spend helps us make the holiday a cheerful and memorable time for our clients. Check back here for specific volunteer opportunities for Winter Feast this year.

Hope for New York “His Toy Store” 

His Toy Store brings hope and joy to life across our city—where 1 in 4 children live below the poverty line. With your help, we provide 20,000 children with toys through 35+ free toy stores across the five boroughs. Volunteers are needed at every store to take quality photos and videos. Experience in photography/videography is preferred.

Bowery Mission

Join The Bowery Mission for our cherished, time-honored tradition: a Christmas meal celebration in New York City! At The Bowery Mission we believe in the power of community, which is why we extend a heartfelt invitation to anyone without a home to join us around our family table on Christmas. Volunteers needed at multiple locations on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and the day following Christmas.
