Moshe served as the JAFI Shaliah and Director of Israel Engagement here at BJ from 2015–2019. He currently serves as the founding CEO of Shazur—a nonprofit that curates immersive experiences, interpersonal encounters, and on-site learning, introducing Israelis to the building blocks of American Jewry and its contribution to the unfolding story of our people. Moshe’s acclaimed TV miniseries The New Jew, that exposed Israelis to the diversity and vibrancy of American Jewry, aired on the Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation in 2021. More recently he created a documentary movie titled The New Jew – Days of War that explores the impact of October 7 on American Jewry. Moshe lives in Jerusalem with his amazing wife, Rachel, and their two gorgeous kids, Alma and Ariel.
