Soul Food: Torah That Nourishes, with Rabbi Felicia Sol
Feed your soul on Tuesdays at lunchtime with Rabbi Felicia Sol. Each class offers Torah that nourishes, inspires, and challenges—bringing insight into how we find God, meaning, and wisdom in the rhythms of everyday life.
Shirah with Shira
Join our Hebrew immersion class for 3- and 4-year-olds with Shira Averbuch. Through music, stories, and movement, children and caregivers build community, explore Jewish traditions, and experience Israeli culture in a fun, engaging environment.

Parashat Hashavua with Rabbinic Fellow Iliana Brodsky
Join BJ Rabbinic Fellow, Iliana Brodsky, for weekly parashah (torah portion) study following Friday morning minyan. We will study challenges in the text whether textual, moral, or theological.
Bim Bam
Bim Bam is a joyful gathering for children three and under to get ready for Shabbat through singing, movement, and stories, while practicing traditions such as lighting candles and saying Kiddush.
Tot Shabbat
Families enjoy a kid-friendly Kabbalat Shabbat service filled with singing and dancing. Services are followed by a dinner complete with Shabbat blessings and songs. While adults are finishing their meal, children engage in play and exploration.
Likrat Shabbat (K-6th Grade)
Kick off Shabbat with some Friday night learning, music, food and community building. The evening will consist of Shabbat-related activities for children and adults, services, and dinner. This event is for BJ member families with children in kindergarten through 7th grade.
Hitoreri
Hitoreri is our monthly teen-only Kabbalat Shabbat & dinner, and a favorite BJ teen tradition. Teens participate in a Kabbalat Shabbat service led by their own classmates followed by Shabbat dinner and time for the teens to catch up and hang out.
Kabbalat Shabbat
Join us on Friday nights for a joyful Kabbalat Shabbat service infused with uplifting melodies from across the Jewish world, brought to life by our extraordinary musicians and deepened by the wisdom of our tradition.

Elementary School Shabbat Morning Services
Join us every Saturday morning for a lively and engaging Shabbat service designed for kids in grades 1-6, led by one of our music educators, Phoebe Eskovitz and Matt Arons. We look forward to seeing you there!
Arvit and Havdalah
Join us in virtual community for Arvit (the evening service), as we maintain a collective spiritual practice while supporting all those in our midst who are saying Kaddish. We will conclude with havdalah and end Shabbat together as a community.
