Empty Chair at the Seder—A Pre-Pesah Bereavement Group
As Pesah approaches, feelings of grief and loss may be heightened as memories of years past resurface. BJ members, join members of our community to draw support and comfort one another and from our shared tradition.

Rabbinic Fellow Alissa Platcow will help unlock the hidden themes and explore the dramatic arch of our tefillot (prayers) while sharing some essential tips for how to navigate services (where do I stand, when do I bow, and why?).

Soul Food: Traditional Torah with a Radical Twist
Open the other half of the Jewish bookshelf with Rabbi Felicia Sol and the study of Dirshuni: Contemporary Women’s Midrash. No previous textual experience is necessary. Each class will stand alone, so come for one or join for all. Rabbi Sol will select the midrashim and share them with the class.
