Experience the ritual of Tashlikh, a symbolic casting away of the year’s hardships and misdeeds. Begin at the BJ Community House adult learning with reflection and preparation for the new year led by the Rabbinic Fellows. Then, we’ll gather by the water at 6:10 PM for Tashlikh.

Join us in Riverside Park as we come together for tashlikh, ritualizing the casting off of our sins by throwing pieces of bread into the waters of the Hudson River. Be sure to stay until the end, as we gather for havdalah, marking the close of Rosh Hashanah.
