Rabbi Omer Zonenshine

Biography

Omer Zonenshine is a graduate of the 4th cohort of Beit Midrash for Israeli Rabbis. Omer is a teacher and educator, whose specialty is in Jewish thought, liberal democracy, and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Omer leads a kibbutz community in The Human Spirit Grows Again project, supporting their process of returning to the kibbutz post-October 7.

Omer served as the director of the pre-military programs of HaMidrasha BeOranim – Hechaltz, as a national Hadracha coordinator in the Scout Movement, and in addition, he managed an educational project that brings together youth from all sectors of Israeli society.

Omer studied acting at the Nissan Nativ Studio, graduated the experiential education leadership program at the Mandel Institute, and holds an MBA with a specialization in non-profit organizations from the University of Haifa.
