Beth Siegel
Biography
Beth is a retired senior management professional with over 45 years of experience in financial management, project development, and personnel management. Beth recently retired from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey where she served as Deputy Director for the PATH Business & Program Delivery unit and was responsible for the Department’s $272M operating budget, $3.6B capital plan, procurement, and strategic initiatives. Beth is a graduate of Muhlenberg College, received her MBA from Seton Hall University, and is a Gruss Fellow, from the Wharton School of Business.
Beth and her husband Scott Weiner have been members of BJ since 2008. Rabbi Marcello married Beth and Scott in 2009 at BJ. They live on the Upper West Side and are regulars at Friday and Saturday services, have travelled several times with the rabbis to Israel, and attended many BJ Retreats. Beth has been a regular volunteer in the BJ soup kitchen for the Judith Bernstein lunch program since 2008 and since 2019 has led this volunteer effort. Beth is currently a member of the finance committee and has participated as a committee member for BJ’s capital campaign, fundraising galas, and Social Justice Leadership committee.
