“One Short Day In The City of Shushan” Purim Spiel Rehearsals
ABOUT THE PURIM SPIEL
Calling all BJ performers! BJ Theater Company’s annual smash-hit Purim Spiel is back and better than ever. This year’s show One Short Day In The City Of Shushan, is a wonderfully “Wicked” show that will have performers in grades K-8 following the Yellow Brick Road all the way to Shushan. This swankified Oz-tastic exploration of the Megillah is sure to be a blast for performers aspiring and experienced. Rehearsals will be on Saturdays & Tuesdays beginning February 15 until the performance on March 13—students can attend either weekday/weekend rehearsals or both. To audition, please send an email to emiller@bj.org by Thursday, February 13, with a video of roughly half a song. If auditioning feels like a barrier to participation, just go ahead and register! Questions? Email Emma!
REHEARSAL SCHEDULE
Rehearsals will take place in person at the BJ Community House (270 West 89th Street) unless otherwise indicated. Students can attend either weekday/weekend rehearsals or both. Any changes to the rehearsal schedule below will be communicated directly to participants’ families.
