Hai School Musi-Spiel Rehearsals
Calling all K-8th grade actors, dancers, singes, and aspiring performers to join us for what promises to be our biggest, best Purim Spiel yet! This year's show is Hai School Musi-Spiel, based on Disney's beloved High School Musical.
Join us for a new Sunday morning learning program following Morning Minyan. Sessions will be led by a rabbi or a prominent partner or friend of BJ, who will will teach a monthly Torah class live from Israel.
Join your grade for an empowering year of cohort learning through monthly sessions featuring subjects chosen by Teen Representatives from each grade cohort; such as Israel, Anti-Semitism, Race, Holocaust education, and what it means to be a Jew today.
Whether you are in need of healing, praying for a loved one, or want to extend well wishes to the wider world, join Rabbi Shuli Passow and cellist Jessie Reagan Mann for a healing circle rooted in meditation and chanting.
Join with fellow BJ members for a monthly Bereavement Group beginning Monday, facilitated by Jane Blumenstein. Group members will have an opportunity to share and to listen to each other, reflect and guide each other through their respective grieving processes.
Join Rabbi Rebecca Weintraub on Tuesday mornings as we explore Mishnah Brakhot: the first tractate of the six books of Mishnah and the beginning of our oral Torah.
Open up your soul to the nourishment and challenge of the Hassidic rabbis. Join Rabbi Felicia Sol as we study Netivot Shalom, Rabbi Shalom Noach Berezovsky, a 20th c. Slonimer Rebbe. Each class will stand alone, so new participants are always welcome. No prior knowledge is expected.
“Kadima” is the name of our Hebrew school program. Kadima@BJ will be held virtually from September-December.
Come join other BJ members in learning Ivrit (Hebrew) live and online. Our Hebrew course provides a comprehensive Hebrew-learning experience focusing on the skills needed for conversation. Whether you are a beginner or an intermediate student, we have a class for you!
Join Rabbi Roly Matalon to study and discuss the inspirational sources and suggestions in Rabbi Dov Singer’s book “Prepare My Prayer: Recipes to Awaken the Soul”.
Centering around the building of community in 7th grade, students will feel more connected to the BJ community, the B’nai Mitzvah process, and their peers through this trimester program.

A space for children under 3 to get ready for Shabbat through songs, movement, and stories, while practicing traditions. The series is held on Zoom and led by our Artist in Residence, Shira Averbuch.

Join us on the second Friday of every month for a Pre-Shabbat Family sing-along. Our own Michael Harlow, Rachel Barnehama and Michael Witman will lead us in some of our favorite Shabbat tunes.
