Partners for more than 15 years in projects featuring Jewish liturgical music, Music Director Dan Nadel interviews Rabbi Roly Matalon, discussing passion for music as a form of personal artistic expression and as a vehicle for communal identity.

In a lively back-and-forth discussion, Dr. Hussein Ibish (Senior Resident Scholar, Arab Gulf States Institute) and Professor David Meyers (Judaic Studies, UCLA) will provide a thoughtful look at the history and interpretation of two opposing movements: Zionism and Palestinian Nationalism.

High school seniors are invited to participate in a special program with Rabbi Roly Matalon, created specifically for 12th graders. Each session will have a unique focus: bringing Jewish ritual with you wherever you go, building a new tribe outside of BJ, and antisemitism today. Rosh Hodesh (Sisterhood) and Shevet (Brotherhood) are small, single-gender, single-grade groups for teens, led by adult mentors trained by Moving Traditions.
