20s + 30s Virtual Zikaron BaSalon: Holocaust Survivor Story
Join Aviv and the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan for an incredible, virtual evening to commemorate Holocaust Remembrance Day. Zikaron BaSalon typically takes place in the living room of a member of our 20s + 30s community. This year we will meet virtually. Participants create their own experiences during the event through an open discussion about the Holocaust and its impact on society across time. Zikaron BaSalon events consist of three parts: testimony by a survivor, artistic expression, and an open discussion.
This is part of an international movement started in Israel, with hundreds of young adults marking this day by remembering the Shoah (Holocaust) and discussing how we can ensure we never forget.
This year, join us in conversation with Susan Sanders and Myriam Abramowicz as they share their parents’ story of being hidden in Belgium during the Holocaust and the journey that they each have taken to discover and learn more about their families’ histories.
Register by Tuesday, April 21, at 6:00PM.
