Bim Bam gives children 3 and under a fun space to get ready for Shabbat through interactive songs, movement, and stories, while practicing traditions such as lighting candles and saying Kiddush.
Families will enjoy a kid-friendly Kabbalat Shabbat service filled with singing and dancing. Services will be followed by a dinner complete with Shabbat blessings and songs.
We’re excited that our Shabbat Model program embraces BJ’s celebration of Shabbat, modeling authentic experiences of Jewish life. All BJ families are welcome at Shabbat Model—please note the programming is designed with our third through sixth grade students in mind.

Calling all fifth grade students and parents! Join us for a special Shabbat morning gathering for the B-Mitzvah cohort. We’ll come together with Rabbi Rebecca Weintraub and BJ’s Family Life & Learning staff to explore what it means to become a B-Mitzvah.

Open the other half of the Jewish bookshelf with Rabbi Felicia Sol and the study of Dirshuni: Contemporary Women’s Midrash. No previous textual experience is necessary. Each class will stand alone, so come for one or join for all. Rabbi Sol will select the midrashim and share them with the class.
Join the BJ Theater Company as we celebrate Pesah! Kindergarten–6th graders explore the Haggadah through music and dance as we weave together a parody performance that will have you singing through your seder.
