The “Building Resiliency” series is a transformative six-part support group specially designed to explore the profound aspects of life and well-being for older adults. Each session delves into different themes, encouraging participants to reflect, share, and connect on a deeper level.
After being expelled from Nazi Germany for his outspokenness, Rabbi Joachim Prinz immigrated to America and became a leader in the civil rights movement. The documentary remembers him as ahead of his time in his positions on civil rights and peace in the Middle East. This is a Shira Palmer Sherman Memorial Event.

Jeffrey Ohrenstein, Chairman of Memorial Scroll Trust, will explain how BJ's historic Torah, older than the United States, was one of 1564 scrolls rescued from the Holocaust. This event will include a Q&A and an opportunity to view the scroll up close.

This Zoom support group is for those who have lost a loved one to suicide. Facilitated by Rabbi Simkha Y. Weintraub, LCSW, and Dr. Adena Greenberg, Ph.D., the support group will meet monthly on Wednesdays.

In partnership with Project Rousseau, we will offer a monthly clinic where volunteers will help asylum seekers complete and submit the online application for employment authorization.
