Join Rabbi Rebecca Weintraub for this meaningful ritual that brings together students and families as they begin their ascent toward becoming a B-Mitzvah. BJ member families of B-Mitzvah students are invited to our annual B-Mitzvah journey opening ritual. The entire Torah will be unrolled, and each student will find the parashah (portion) that they will read when called to the Torah for their B-Mitzvah.
Families will gather for seudah shelishit (the third meal of Shabbat) before beginning this meaningful ritual, and we will conclude the program with Havdalah.
