Open the other half of the Jewish bookshelf with Rabbi Felicia Sol and the study of Dirshuni: Contemporary Women’s Midrash. Contributors of Dirshuni express their religious and moral thought and experience through innovative interpretations of scripture using the classical forms developed by the ancient rabbis.
No previous textual experience is necessary. Each class will stand alone, so come for one or join for all. Rabbi Sol will select the midrashim and share them with the class. The book can be purchased online or at West Side Judaica on the Upper West Side.
