This Shabbat, we welcome back alumni of the BJ Rabbinic Fellowship from across the country for a weekend reflecting on Rabbi Roly Matalon’s enduring role as a mentor and teacher. Over decades, Roly has helped shape a generation of rabbis—guiding their spiritual formation, deepening their Torah, and modeling a rabbinate rooted in integrity, creativity, and love of community. Our fellows will be with us all Shabbat long, lending their voices to prayer, learning, and conversation.
