August 19: Purple: America, We Need to Talk

Join us for a viewing of the film Purple: America, We Need to Talk, created by Resetting the Table which tells the story of Americans with opposing viewpoints confronting their disagreements head-on and discovering the concerns and experiences that lie behind each other’s positions.

Our guest speakers will be Rabbi Roly Matalon and BJ staff member Jade Groobman, who will each be speaking about the importance of building bridges and engaging in difficult conversations with people who may have different identities or opinions from our own. There will also be opportunity for community conversations in breakout rooms.
