Judith Bernstein Lunch Program Volunteer Orientation
For nearly 40 years, BJ has operated the Judith Bernstein Lunch Program, a weekly soup kitchen providing fresh, homemade lunches to anyone in need, as well as a welcoming space for guests to sit, socialize, and feel a sense of belonging.
Whether you’re a longtime volunteer or interested in getting involved for the first time, join us for an orientation as we introduce some exciting changes to how we serve lunch!
We’ll walk through our new table-service model, review volunteer roles and responsibilities, and discuss how we can make our weekly lunches an even more welcoming and dignified experience for all.
*If you’re unable to attend, a recording of the orientation will be available afterward. Please email Rose Frey to request a copy and be added to the volunteer list.
