Led by BJ members Rabbi Carole Balin and Jennifer Sylvor, the Israeli Authors Discussion Group takes us on a journey of rich and thought-provoking Israeli literature.  This month we will read: Inside Information by Eshkol Nevo.

Comprising three linked narratives, Inside Information, captures the serendipity and strangeness of lives intersecting at precisely the wrong or right moment in time. The first story describes the aftermath of a disastrous honeymoon; in the second, an aging doctor struggles to understand his feelings for a young colleague; and in the third, a man simply vanishes. Taken together, this novel offers a powerful meditation on intimacy, longing, and loss.
