Intro to Judaism
All events in seriesWhether you are looking to deepen your understanding of Judaism, are considering conversion, or are sparked by curiosity to explore this rich tradition, this class is for you. Together we will discuss the fundamental concepts of Judaism, explore theology and prayer, cultivate meaningful personal practices, and build relationships with one another. When the course is completed, you will feel empowered to pursue a Jewish life rich with meaning and supported by a cohort of like-minded individuals. No prior knowledge or experience is necessary.
This class, taught by Rabbi Jessica Lenza, will meet in person (shifting to Zoom as needed), weekly on Tuesday evenings and it will be supplemented by occasional Shabbat and holiday experiences. You will receive a complete syllabus with dates and topics when the course begins. As part of this experience, we invite you to explore opportunities to connect to the larger BJ community and discover your unique Jewish journey.
