Healing and Hope: A Jewish Community Gathering
It’s been one year since COVID-19 changed the landscape of the world as we knew it. Join the UJA Federation of New York as the Jewish community gathers at this meaningful moment in time, both to commemorate the collective loss we’ve experienced and to honor our resilience and strength. This 30-minute program will include messages of hope and healing from rabbinic leaders across our community; a memorial tribute led by Rabbi Menachem Creditor, UJA’s Pearl and Ira Meyer scholar-in-residence; and music by Neshama Carlebach, international singer and educator, accompanied by singers of all ages from our day schools and community centers. Together we’ll forward to a better year with positive news on the horizon, while remembering what truly defines who we are as a deeply committed and interconnected community.
