Family Mahzor Project

Calling all BJ Families: We are embarking on the incredible journey of creating and publishing our very own community Family Mahzor (High Holiday Prayer Book). This Mahzor will be used in our Family High Holiday Services for years to come.

Join us for a lunch-and-learn/create with soferet (a scribe) and artist, Rachel Jackson. Together, we will create art based on one of the central prayers and themes of the High Holiday season. Our learning and art will be incorporated into the BJ Family Mahzor and will help prepare us and open our hearts for Yom Kippur this year.

This project is for families with children and grandchildren of all ages, all generations are welcome!
