Music is the heartbeat of Shabbat at BJ—in these two sessions, Hazzan Ari Priven invites you to experience it from the inside out. Through listening, learning, and singing together, we’ll explore how Shabbat’s melodies shape mood, meaning, and spiritual connection.
The first session focuses on the music of Kabbalat Shabbat, and the second session turns to the music of Shabbat morning. All are welcome; no knowledge of Hebrew, music, or any other aspect of the services, is required.
