As we prepare for High Holy Days in this unprecedented and trying time, Jewish mental health professionals have unique challenges. This gathering will be a space for BJ members who are therapists to prepare for the new year in a supportive communal way. It will also lay the groundwork for a new havurah (small group) to begin this fall, in which BJ therapists can connect, support each other, share experiences, and explore the intersection of clinical work and Jewish identity. All levels of experience and backgrounds are welcome.
Rabbi Shuli Passow will offer an Elul-related teaching, and the conversation will be facilitated by BJ member Susan Bodner.
