Celebrate Shabbat with a lively and engaging service for families with kids in grades 1–6. Designed to be meaningful for kids and parents alike, these joyful services help students build familiarity with the Shabbat morning liturgy, spark discussion about the week’s parashah, and build community between BJ families. Each week, services are led by our rabbinic intern Shira Bodnar, as well as a rotating cast of BJ spiritual leaders.
Each week’s service highlights a specific grade so that families can be sure their kids’ friends will be there, too. Find a full calendar of grade-level dates here. That said, all families are invited every week!
