Gideon Frankel
Biography
Gideon Frankel was born and raised on the Upper West Side where he and his mom, dad, and brother shared a one-bathroom apartment. His wife, Dena Zamore, was born and raised in Redding, Connecticut, in a house with four bathrooms. Now along with their children Arlo (10) and Zade (8), they live in the same one-bathroom apartment that Gideon grew up in. Dena wishes they had at least one more bathroom but has learned to share well. Both Gideon and Dena work for the New York City Public School System, and met in 2011 while working together as teachers. Their kids attend PS 165 and love playing sports and doing gymnastics. They are all grateful to be part of the loving BJ community!
