Iliana Brodsky

Biography

Iliana Brodsky is a fourth-year rabbinical student at the Jewish Theological Seminary and a current Rabbinic Fellow at B’nai Jeshurun in Manhattan. In the past few years she has taken the opportunity to travel around the country as a Student Ambassador for the seminary, teaching Torah and engaging communities across the Conservative movement. Iliana previously held the Rabbinic Intern position at Synagogue Emanu-El in Charleston, South Carolina, where she led services for Shabbat and other Holy Days, taught adult-ed classes, and coordinated synagogue programs. Iliana is extremely driven by issues of access and equity in the Jewish world, and is dedicated to creating more vibrant Jewish spaces for all through her rabbinate. Ever enamored by her hometown of Brooklyn, New York, you can often find Iliana checking out local markets or on a long stroll in Prospect Park.
