About the author
Kurshan is also the author of If All the Seas Were Ink, winner of the Sami Rohr Prize for Jewish Literature. She has held roles in literary publishing in both New York and Jerusalem, working as a translator, foreign rights agent, and books editor for Lilith Magazine. A summa cum laude graduate of Harvard University (BA, History of Science) and Cambridge University (M.Phil, English Literature), Kurshan now teaches and studies Torah in Jerusalem, where she lives with her husband and their five children.
