Join us for a meaningful evening of learning and conversation with acclaimed author Ilana Kurshan, as she brings to life her newest book, Children of the Book. In this work, Kurshan explores the deep bonds that emerge when family life unfolds against the backdrop of shared reading.
Kurshan is also the author of If All the Seas Were Ink, winner of the Sami Rohr Prize for Jewish Literature. She has held roles in literary publishing in both New York and Jerusalem, working as a translator, foreign rights agent, and books editor for Lilith Magazine. A summa cum laude graduate of Harvard University (BA, History of Science) and Cambridge University (M.Phil, English Literature), Kurshan now teaches and studies Torah in Jerusalem, where she lives with her husband and their five children.
