Jenny Mariaschin-Rudin

Biography

Jenny Mariaschin-Rudin has been connected to B’nai Jeshurun since her early 20s and officially joined the community with her husband and daughter in 2022 when her daughter was a baby.  A proud member of the BJ Early Childhood Community (ECC), Jenny has served on the ECC Committee, chaired the EC Retreat, and served as Early Childhood Committee Cochair from 2023 – 2025. She helped launch Parent-Led Initiatives (PLIs) to foster deeper family engagement and started “Opinion Minyans” to encourage ECC families to have a deeper voice in programming, in partnership with BJ Family Life and Learning leadership.

Professionally, Jenny is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in private practice, practicing psychotherapy and neurodiversity consulting. Her background spans behavioral health integration in community health and mental health settings, and student support curriculum development for public schools, and she finds that Jewish values have been deeply woven into her career as a social worker.  Jenny holds a BA in Psychology from Wesleyan University—where she sang with the Jewish a cappella group, the Mazeltones—and an MSW from NYU School of Social Work.

Born and raised on the Upper East Side and now living on the Upper West Side, Jenny loves family time, exploring every park and playground in the neighborhood, singing Broadway showtunes (whether or not she knows the lyrics), reading young adult fantasy novels, and celebrating neurodiversity.  Unabashedly passionate about community and connection, Jenny is deeply grateful to call BJ her spiritual and communal home.
