Led by BJ’s new rabbinic fellow, Iliana Brodsky, this class draws inspiration from the Shiva d’Nehemta—the Seven Haftarot of Comfort read in the weeks leading up to the Yamim Nora’im. Following kiddush, we’ll explore how comfort and consolation are expressed in our tradition, and consider how embracing comfort as a spiritual posture can deepen our preparation for the High Holy Days.
