Sell Your Hametz
Traditionally, avoiding hametz has meant getting rid of all hametz in your possession. This can cause major financial hardship as well as food waste, so a custom was developed by the rabbis to sell the hametz to a non-Jewish person instead. This Pesah, Rabbi Roly Matalon will once again be your agent for selling hametz.

Ma’ot Hittim (literally: wheat money) is a special Passover fund used to provide matzah to those who cannot afford to purchase their own. Providing this form of a tzedakah is a mitzvah unique to the Pesah holiday. We invite you to fulfill this mitzvah by giving to our Ma’ot Hittim fund.
