Through the dedication of a memorial plaque in our Sanctuary, a cherished prayer book, or a meaningful gift in the name of a loved one, you can ensure that their memory continues to inspire and uplift our community. We invite you to explore these opportunities for tribute and join us in moments of reflection, connection, and renewal.

Opportunities to Remember and Renew

Memorial Plaques

One of the most meaningful ways to honor a loved one’s memory is by inscribing their name on our memorial plaque in the Sanctuary—the donation is $1,800 for a single name and $2,400 for a couple.

In June each year, we hold a meaningful Memorial Plaque Ceremony led by our rabbis, honoring those memorialized in the past year. Families are invited to gather, reflect, and share words of remembrance for their loved ones in a sacred and supportive space.

Make a Gift in Memory of a Loved One

A donation to BJ’s General Fund supports the breadth of our community’s spiritual, educational, and social justice programming—your support is more important than ever. Make a gift in memory of a loved one to BJ’s General Fund or by designating your support to one of our other funds.

Dedicate a Siddur or Family Mahzor

Honor the memory of a loved one by dedicating a siddur or our new family mahzor, Mahzor Ledor, for $54. To dedicate a siddur or family mahzor, contact advancement@bj.org for more information.
