Ilana is the director of Jewish Israeli Identity and Culture at HaMidrasha at Oranim – Hechalutz, and director of Yehuda Haifa. A graduate of the fifth cohort of the Beit Midrash for Israeli Rabbis, Ilana is originally from a traditional family in Kiryat Shmona, and now lives in Haifa with her family.

A founding member of Limmud Haifa, Ilana is a committed partner in promoting inclusive Jewish learning and community life.

At HaMidrasha at Oranim, Ilana mentors and guides educational teams, teaches Jewish content in pre-military academies (mekhinot), facilitates group processes, and supports the community of Pri Gan–a moshav near the Gaza border–in its healing and rebuilding journey following the events of October.
At Yehuda Haifa–a coalition of pluralistic communities and organizations in the city–Ilana leads strategic processes, works closely with local partners, and strengthens ties with the municipal authorities.
