Ellen Corenswet

Biography

Ellen Corenswet and her husband John Morgan have been BJ members since 1989. Ellen is a senior counsel in the New York office of the law firm of Covington & Burling LLP. During her career, Ellen has served as outside general counsel to a number of companies in the life sciences, technology and media industries. In addition, she has acted as pro-bono counsel to several non-profits. Ellen and other Covington lawyers provide a broad range of legal services to BJ on a pro-bono basis. Ellen and John have two children–Jake and Brianna–who grew up at BJ in the ’90s and 2000s–and two grandchildren: Mira (3) and Nate (1) who live in NYC.
