Ela Lipaz

Biography

Lipaz Ela is a spiritual entrepreneur and community leader dedicated to revitalizing Jewish life in Israel. As the Founder and CEO of MINYAN, she creates innovative spiritual experiences that make Jewish tradition accessible and meaningful for young adults in Tel Aviv.

With over a decade of experience in nonprofit leadership and Jewish education, Lipaz has led Jewish identity and Israel engagement initiatives for global organizations. She previously served as Chief Storytelling Officer at Vibe Israel, developing educational content to strengthen connections between young people worldwide and Israel. As a Jewish Agency shlihah at UCLA Hillel, she led Jewish identity programs and mentored young leaders, strengthening their connection to Israel and their Jewish heritage. She also worked with Israel’s Civil Service Cadets Program, guiding international delegations and cross-sector initiatives and managed a national education project in underserved communities.

Lipaz holds a Master’s in Pluralistic Jewish Education from Hebrew University and HUC and a Bachelor’s in Social Sciences from Bar-Ilan University. A former IDF officer (Iron Dome & Air Force), she brings leadership and organizational expertise to her work.

In addition, Lipaz officiates life ceremonies and designs spiritual experiences, helping individuals and communities find depth, meaning, and connection through Jewish tradition.
