Early Childhood Simhat Torah Morning Service (Age 6 and Under)
Families will enjoy this spiritual and fun holiday service full of singing, movement, learning, and dancing with the Torah!
Arvit and Havdalah
Join us in virtual community for Arvit (the evening service), as we maintain a collective spiritual practice while supporting all those in our midst who are saying Kaddish. We will conclude with havdalah and end Simhat Torah together as a community.

Shirah with Shira
Join Shira Averbuch for a joyful Hebrew immersion class for children ages 3–4 and their parents or caregivers. Through music, stories, movement, and play, children build early Hebrew language skills, connect with Israeli culture, and experience the warmth of Jewish community.
Kadima Parent Learning
Invest in your own Jewish learning alongside other parents and caregivers. Taught weekly by a rotation of BJ clergy and spiritual leaders, each session connects with what students are learning in Kadima and is open to all backgrounds.
Mindfulness Prayer Practice Group
We invite you to join this group, led by Jonathan Silver, as we search for deeper kavannah (intention) in our prayers, ritual practice, and weekly Torah portion.

Gather for a lively Shabbat morning service featuring songs, stories, Torah reading, and more, especially for families with children ages 6 and under.
Elementary School Shabbat Morning Services: 5th Grade
Join us Saturday mornings for a lively and engaging Shabbat service designed for kids in grades 1–6. Drop-off is optional—parents are welcome to stay for the family-friendly service or join the larger community in the Sanctuary. This week’s service is for 5th graders.
