Join Rabbi Rebecca Weintraub and fellow BJ Teens for a deeper dive into interpersonal, communal, and political makhloket: holy disagreement. This program is open to BJ members grades 8-12.

Engage with short stories about the lives, struggles, and concerns of the Talmudic rabbis, and uncover deeper layers of our own selves. No knowledge of Hebrew is required.

Every first Thursday of the month, this group will discuss a book written by an Israeli author, facilitated by BJ members Carole Balin and Jennifer Sylvor.

Bim Bam gives children under 3 the opportunity to explore Shabbat through interactive songs, movement, and stories while learning traditions such as lighting candles, saying Kiddush, and giving tzedakah. The program is led by our Artist in Residence, Shira Averbuch.

Join us in virtual community for the afternoon prayer service before we prepare to enter Shabbat.

Prepare for Shabbat with Rabbi Roly Matalon, BJ Music Director Dan Nadel and special guest Rabbi Haim Ovadia, using melodies from the Sephardi and Mizrahi traditions, verses of Shir haShirim (Song of Songs), and beautiful piyutim (liturgical poems).

Beginning in May, we will be offering weekly in-person Shabbat services for our Young Families community, led by Shira Averbuch and others. The service will feature lively songs, stories, and movement for families with children 0-7 years old.

We are proud and grateful to our high school seniors for all of the blessings they have given our community over the years. Please join us on Shabbat morning, June 5, for a blessing.
