Join BJ Rabbinic Fellow, Grace, for an evening of learning with fellow 30s and 40s. We will draw on Torah as well as secular sources to understand an argument for reparations for descendants of slaves in the United States.

Engage with short stories about the lives, struggles, and concerns of the Talmudic rabbis, and uncover deeper layers of our own selves. No knowledge of Hebrew is required.

Prepare for Shabbat and Haggim singing new and old Zemirot, songs that are part of traditional Shabbat and Holy Days meals. Join Ari in expanding and exploring this enriching practice central to our heritage.

Every first Thursday of the month, this group will discuss a book written by an Israeli author, facilitated by BJ members Carole Balin and Jennifer Sylvor.

A space for children under 3 to get ready for Shabbat through songs, movement, and stories, while practicing traditions. The series is held on Zoom and led by our Artist in Residence, Shira Averbuch.
