Yael Yechieli is an activist, feminist, and advocate for equality and social justice. She is the founder of the 5050 Partnership for Gender Equality – a pioneering initiative inspired by the spirit of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, with the political goal of ensuring women hold 50% of all public decision-making roles – in government, municipal councils, and public companies

In this role, she spearheaded legislative and advocacy efforts on issues such as marriage rights, women’s equity, public transportation on the Sabbath, religious tolerance for LGBTQ+ individuals, and the empowerment of Ultra-Orthodox women.
