Olive Oil Press Demo

Where did the oil come from to light the menorah during the time of the Temple?  As Hanukah approaches, Rabbi Fried, the Shul Coordinator of Chabad of the the West Side, will demonstrate the use of a rustic oil press to produce oil from fresh olives, much like the Jews did in the time of the Temple. Each child who attends the demo will have an opportunity to use the press to make oil. 

This event is intended for Early Childhood Families (ages 3-7). There will be a limited number of participants. All guests (ages 12 and over) need to show proof of vaccination and wear a mask (ages 2 and over).
