Distanced Grief: When Shiva and Kaddish are Zoomed
A Support Meeting for Those Who Have Been Mourning During the COVID-19 Pandemic
Community members who lost a loved one during, or in the months before, the onset of the pandemic—to illness, accident, and other non-COVID causes—may feel particularly disconnected, or overwhelmed, in having to mourn alone. They may also feel guilty or resentful for having been apart from their loved one as the end was near. We will gather to share experiences, feelings, insights, and strategies for coping. If you’d like, bring a photo of your loved one to the Zoom meeting.
This meeting is open to all, though space is limited and priority will be given to BJ members.
Register by Tuesday, June 2, at 5:00PM. Email Billie with questions.
