Community Service Project with Repair the World
Families are invited to join us as we partner with Repair the World for a meaningful day of community service where we will be packaging health safety kits for a local food pantry.
This program consists of two parts:
- Packaging Supplies
- In early April, you will receive an email with instructions to pick up supplies at BJ. We will provide you with instructions and everything you need to package the safety kits. Either we will have space to package them onsite, or you can drop them back off at BJ by a certain date.
- An Educational Zoom Session
- On May 5, we will invite your children to come on Zoom with us to learn more about current issues our communities face, such as homelessness and food insecurity, and how community service projects like this can help.
In order to make this event happen, we will need a certain number of volunteers to package the supplies, so please sign up to receive supplies as soon as possible!
Even if you cannot make the Zoom date, we still encourage you to help package!
Please email Makai at with any questions.
