For the first time in nearly a decade, BJ teens have the opportunity to travel together to Israel for an immersive experience of learning, spiritual connection and community building. Israel is central to Jewish life—spiritually, culturally, and politically—and its future matters profoundly. Nothing can build a more powerful relationship with Israel, than actually spending time there in community. The trip will allow students in 9th-12th grades to grow and deepen their connection to the land and people of Israel in countless ways, and to grow their relationships with each other on this teen-only track of our BJ Family Israel Trip. Teens will spend most of the trip traveling together as a peer group, and will join the Family Trip for Shabbat and a few other activities.

Travel Details

All teens are expected to fly with the BJ group unless their family is joining the BJ Family Israel Trip. The cost for teens who will be traveling with their families is $3200 per teen. Please be in touch with Deena and Eric if your teen will be flying with your family instead of the teen group to register your teen.

The BJ Teen Track will be traveling together as a group. We will meet at BJ to travel to the airport together, and will be flying together on a flight departing on Tuesday, December 22, landing in Israel the morning of December 23. We will be landing back in New York on Friday, January 1, and will accompany students back to BJ.

Our final itinerary will be confirmed in the weeks before the trip, and will be shared with the students during a pre-trip orientation. We will be spending time in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and the South of Israel, including visiting locations that were affected by the events of October 7. We will join the BJ Family Trip in Jerusalem for Shabbat.
