Biography

David brings more than 30 years of experience in nonprofit finance and administration. Before joining B’nai Jeshurun, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Broadway Housing Communities, where he led financial and strategic planning, accounting operations, financial analysis and reporting, endowment management, and staff development.

Earlier in his career, David served as CFO of Literacy Partners and as Vice President of Finance & Administration at the Israel Humanitarian Foundation (IHF). In addition to overseeing finance, HR, and IT, he played an active role in strategic planning, rebranding initiatives, and the management of a significant planned giving portfolio. While at IHF, he also participated in a fundraising mission to Israel.

David earned his B.S. in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He is a member of the CFO Alliance Global Advisory Board and the Financial Executives Networking Group. Dedicated to community involvement, David has served on the NJ Regional Board of Young Judaea and on several synagogue boards.
