Biography
With more than 25 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, Lisa brings a relationship-centered, values-driven approach to philanthropy and organizational growth. Lisa believes that fundraising is about inspiring people to act on their values and building a culture where generosity can thrive.
Most recently Lisa served as Chief Development Officer at the Center for Modern Aging Princeton, where she led transformative growth and aligned fundraising with organizational strategy.
Her background in social work shapes every aspect of her leadership. She meets people where they are, builds trust, and helps them see how their personal values can create lasting impact. From managing multimillion-dollar campaigns and revitalizing development operations to leading board governance trainings and mentoring staff, she brings both heart and strategy to her work.
Prior to CMAP, Lisa held roles at the Jewish Federation in the Heart of NJ, JFCS of Greater Mercer County, HIAS, and the Union for Reform Judaism. She holds a MSW in Social Administration from Columbia, a MA in Jewish Studies from Jewish Theological Seminary, and a BA from NYU.
Lisa’s Jewish communal journey began at B’nai Jeshurun in 1995, where she taught kindergarten and fourth grade, led Tot Shabbat, and helped shape children’s High Holiday services. Returning to BJ now feels like coming full circle — she is thrilled to be back in the community that launched her career and nurtured her commitment to Jewish life and service. Most importantly, Lisa met her husband Ben at BJ and they have two sons and one daughter.
