Join us for a festive Shabbat dinner as part of our week with BJ’s Israeli partners and friends. This special evening offers a chance to connect over food, song, and conversation with leaders from HaMidrasha at Oranim–Hechalutz, Beit Tefilah Israeli, Kol HaNeshama, Hebrew Union College in Jerusalem, the Varda Institute, and MINYAN—organizations at the forefront of progressive Jewish life in Israel.

With a sliding scale fee, we encourage you to register at the price that’s right for you.

Pricing:

  • BJ Member Supporter: $54
  • Non-Member: $54
  • BJ Member Standard: $45
  • BJ Member Discount: $30
  • Aviv 20s and 30s: $30

It is our intention that everyone who wants to celebrate Shabbat in the community is able to do so, and our tiered pricing system strives to make these dinners accessible to all. Due to increases in costs, we have had to raise the prices for all three tiers. Even so, these prices do not reflect the entire cost of the dinner. Please consider making an additional donation to help support this Shabbat program.

Registration closes at noon on the Tuesday before the dinner.

Gluten-free and vegan options will be available. Menu items that contain peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, and soy will always be noted on the menu.

Finances should not be a barrier to entry; if you need additional support to attend the dinner, please contact Rabbi Shuli Passow at spassow@bj.org.
