Join a conversation with Majora Carter, a real estate developer, urban revitalization strategy consultant, MacArthur Fellow and Peabody Award winning broadcaster, focusing on her new book “Reclaiming Our Community: You Don’t Have to Move out of Your Neighborhood to Live in a Better One.” In this new work, Carter explores solutions to the problem of persistent poverty in low-status communities, touching on themes of economic development, the nonprofit industrial complex, and environmental justice.
